And in 2 days, there was drywall!

So, I have not been getting to the house till almost after dark.  Friday they did drywall all except our room, basement and garage.  They must have worked Saturday to finish it!  They are also still working on the siding.  They were there today (Sunday) working on it.  I am hopeful they are trying to get our outside done so when the masons get done with the house down the street, they can come do our stone work next.  Barb says I am dreaming.

This is the north & west side of the garage.

This is the house side of the garage.  I don't particularly like the drywall joints above the entrance door.  From my experience, these will be prone to cracking.

This is the great room facing the fireplace.

This is the kitchen area.  I can almost visualize it now...

Not sure what room, I think this is Katie's room upstairs.

This is the den area looking at the media closet.  You can see the outlet in the closet for any items that may need power.

This is from the den entrance looking at the stairs.  A couple things here...  You can barely see the ceiling light box at the very top center of the picture.  This appears to hang down quote a bit.  I hope that isn't a problem.  Also, I was not aware that wall had a hole in it to see the living room.  Not sure if this gets the same stair railing or what.

This is a view of the grand entrance way from up top.

This is Alyssa's room.  Note her ceiling box is recessed correctly.

This is from the master bedroom looking at the bath room and linen closet area.

Master bath area.

This is the shower are in the master bath.  This little wall will end up getting the glass surround put there.  I hope this is the right size, as it is much shorter than the house down the street.

A different angle of the kitchen area.  The corner in the middle should get a small counter area and cabinets.

And here is how the outside looks today.  There was a crew of 2 working, a guy and a lady.  Maybe that is why it is going so slow. They are framing some boards around the windows and such.  The color is a tan, lighter than the house.  I think they paint them white, but not sure.
