Doors and Trim are going up...

so Jeff is traveling this week and I get the job of updating the Blog.   I didn't add anything yesterday because all they did was stage the doors around the house in front of where they were going up.

Today when I got there the front door was open, and I could hear the radio blaring.   The worker was upstairs and didn't even know I was there.   The installed quite a few doors and the trim around it.  No window trim yet.   Nothing new in the kitchen either.

This was the door I saw yesterday -- Not sure if that was new or not.   I think it is the basement door (sorry -- my memory isn't nearly as good as Jeffs)

This is the closet door (the skinny one) and the powder room door

These are the French doors in the den from the inside of the den

This is the little extra closet that we had them make in the den

This is looking upstairs from the foyer.  I didn't want to go up and bug the worker guy

We have been talking to Larry, Tom and Kirsten about a few of our concerns.   Larry explained that the problem in the front of our house was due to a "CAD" error.   The house is suppose to overhang the foundation so he had to have them drill it out.  It will be finished up soon along with the concrete hole in our garage (when they put the door in the wrong place)

Our newest argument with them is about clearing out the trees from our backyard.  We told them from the start we wanted it all cleared. We actually asked them if we could mark trees we wanted to keep and they said no - it would just all be cleared out  So now that they have graded it, there are several trees still there.  They are telling us that we have to pay extra to have them removed.   Waiting on Tom to review this with Larry to see if we can come to a compromise.
