End of the week work...

So this week ends with the painters coming back to work.  It has been several weeks since they painted, but now they are at it!  We now have sprinklers and won the battle with the tree, although it has not came down yet.

Here is the stairway with spindles in place.  Looks awesome!

Mantle is now up.  You can see they are also doing some drywall touch ups as well.

So this is some poor planning on their part.  Hope this looks better when finished, looks dumb now.

Here is that area under the windows.  Debating if they should have just taken those trim rectangles out.

This is the master bath vanity.  The pieces on top are removable panels to allow access to the whirlpool tub.  Again, you can see where they dinged the walls getting the top in and are now preparing for touch up.  Also, noticed that when standing at the right sink, you will have one foot on a register.  Again, not very good planning!

So by Friday they had stained the stairway.  It was all sprayed and then they covered it.

Another shot of the stairway from below.  They even sprayed the walls with the stain in that area.  Hope the stain is easy to cover up!

You can't really tell, but they also painted all the white trim, including the crown molding in the corners.

Supports for the island top have been added and stained.

Doors were set up and painted.

Lawn now has sprinklers where you can see the flags.  We were concerned about future additions (patio), but the irrigation company said they would come back and move/change things in the spring.

Next week we should have grass!!
